Every claim we make can be measured in moving water. If a change didn't make a swimmer measurably faster, it didn't ship.
the brand grew out of a simple test. Put a swimmer in a flume, a treadmill for water, and you can read exactly what a suit does: the drag it adds, the line it holds, the speed it gives back. most gear had never been near one.
we started there and never left. every panel, seam and millimetre of buoyancy in a deboer suit exists because the water proved it earned its place. if a change didn't make a swimmer measurably faster, it didn't ship.
that discipline is the whole company. no gimmicks, no marketing science just the margin that decides a race, engineered into something you can pull on.

a controlled current, a real swimmer, and a drag reading. we test a hypothesis, change one variable, and test again.
the suit that ships is simply the one the water made fastest — for the sprinter in lane four and the triathlete two hours into open water alike.

that's also why the sizing process is personal. the same team that builds the suits reads your photos and calls your size because the name on the chest only means something if the fit is right.
