shipping
orders placed before 12:00 ET ship the same day. racing a deadline? note your race date at checkout and we'll flag the order. wetsuits and race suits get priority handling in the two weeks before major events.
returns & exchanges
start your return
within 14 days of delivery, from your account or the link in your order email. size exchanges are prioritized over refunds — we'd rather get you the right suit.
ship it free
we email a prepaid label. suits go back in any box — keep the original packaging if you can, but it's not required.
refund or swap
exchanges ship the day your return scans. refunds land 3–5 business days after we receive the suit.
race suits and wetsuits can be tried on — that's the only way to judge fit — but must come back unworn in water, with the hygiene liner in place. two policies to know: suits ordered without a size consult can't be size-exchanged, and all exchanges and returns carry a $40 USD restocking fee. one email to the Experience Team before you order skips both.

Don't guess. Send the Experience Team your gender, height (cm), weight (kg), chest circumference, which suit you're considering, and a full-body photo (trisuit or swimwear) at info@deboerswim.com — they'll confirm your size before you order, usually within 24 hours. This matters: suits ordered without a size consult can't be size-exchanged.
Probably not. On dry land a correctly-sized wetsuit feels snug through the chest and shoulders — that pressure disappears in the water as the neoprene compresses and lifts. If you can't breathe deeply or raise your arms overhead, go up a size. Read the full fit guide.
Fjord 4.0 and Tidal cover roughly 10–24°C. Above 20°C, the sleeveless Tsunami keeps you cool with full lift at the hips. Below 15°C, add the ICEMAN 4.0 thermal system — hood, gloves and socks. Compare all three →
Expect peak compression for 10–15 swims. Rinse cold after every session, drip dry away from sun, never machine-wash. Many swimmers keep one suit for finals and an older one for prelims.
Every deboer race suit is World Aquatics approved, FINA legal and USA Swimming certified. The approval mark is printed inside the waistband — officials can check it at marshaling.

For major events we can ship to your accommodation or the expo — note the race and dates at checkout. We don't recommend venue delivery inside 5 days of race day; choose Express to your home instead.

something wrong with your suit? file it here: your order number, a few lines about the damage and two or three photos is all the team needs. we reply with the plan: repair, replacement or return.
- size exchanges: request + return within 14 days of delivery
- only orders sized with the Experience Team first are eligible for a size exchange
- tags attached, no damage — send photos of the condition before returning
- restocking fee: $40 USD flat; return shipping is on you, trackable service
- discounted, clearance and complimentary items aren't eligible
- one-year warranty against manufacturing defects — original owner, non-transferable
- not covered: misuse, accidents, normal wear, unauthorized repairs, fingernail cuts
- swimwear: the chlorine-protective coating extends life, but coverage ends once a suit has been used in chlorinated water
